Science fair projects are mandatory in biology class
Please keep in mind that students should present topics that:
1. They are interested in
2. Are High School level
3. They have not been used before (for previous years)
STUDENTS MAY work with a partner, but they MUST provide written consent from both parents before they will be approved to work together. This partner can be from not be from any other Biology class ONLY.

Project timeline
REMEMBER: You should be working in your data log book all along. It is a daily journal for your science fair project - this is hand written and must be in chronological order. It is important to keep receipts, include rough drafts, plans, websites, etc. in your data log book.
FINAL DRAFT:
You must fill in the Final Draft EDD on the document provided and print it once you are done. BE SURE TO ONLY INCLUDE those materials you need ordered only. DO NOT request items you can find. (Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Publix, etc.) |

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT PART 1:
You must bring your printed part 1 (title page, table of contents, & bibliography) to class. You will be submitting this for review and your grade will not be affected by errors at this time. Be sure to have all portions with you at time of submission. |

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT PART 2:
You must bring in your printed introduction and acknowledgements. This research paper must be written in 3rd person (NO I, ME, MY, etc). Be sure to add additional resources to your bibliography as you visit new sites. |

SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT PART 3:
You must bring in your printed Part 3 (Materials, Methods, and results. Most of you will not have results, but you will have an idea of the types of data tables, graphs, and pictures that you are planning on including in your research paper. You are to set up a plan on pages in the results section so you can fill in once your data is collected. |
